Sue Chastain is one of those artists whose books are always entertaining.Her pictures are clear and fun to color whether you are young or old.No two pictures are the same. I personally am a great fan and highly recommend her books.the paper is lovely to work on and the lines are smooth and clear. the variety is immense and its hard to choose which picture to do first. this book will give you hours of entertainment. do yourself a favour and go ahead and get one.
I was lucky enough to win one of Sue's coloring books in a contest this spring. I am new to coloring and was impressed with the quality of the pages and the intricate designs on some pages while others were simplistic in nature. This book is a great book for all skill levels. My only problem is that I wish I had multiple copies of the designs...I get done with one and wish I could do it again and start over.
Susan is my favorite artist. Her illustrations are fun and perfect for beginners thru advanced color enthusiasts. It is such a fun way to relax and de-stress from my day. I highly recommend this book and Susan's first book Ornamentals Volume 1 Whimsical mandalas. This book is perfect to buy for yourself or as gift for someone who loves to color.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I ended up really loving this book. A lot of the designs are simple enough to not be frustrating and yet if you want to, you are still able to get creative with your coloring such as shading and highlighting. The designs are whimsical and fun. You could easily keep this book for yourself as an adult colorist or you can share it with a child. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in adult coloring.
The paper is thin and the book smaller than I thought.
